Who we are

Cooperative AI Institute is an educational training and certification platform for organizations evaluating and governing AI systems, operated by Pineview AI. We provide digital courses, templates, and governance resources designed to help professionals evaluate and implement AI responsibly.

Agreement to these terms

By purchasing, accessing, or using any Cooperative AI Institute product, course, template, or resource, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not purchase or access our products.

Products and access

Cooperative AI Institute offers one-time digital products, subscription memberships, and single certifications. Access is granted for the individual, team, or institution described at checkout. Access is non-transferable unless explicitly stated.

Permitted use

Products are licensed for internal use only within the purchasing institution, team, or individual account. You may use, adapt, and apply templates internally and share them with colleagues within the same institution or team covered by the purchase.

You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publicly post, or use materials in consulting, advisory, or training services delivered to other organizations without written permission from Cooperative AI Institute.

Educational resources only

All content is provided as educational and practical training resources only. Nothing we provide constitutes legal advice, compliance advice, audit guidance, regulatory guidance, or certification of an institution's compliance with any regulation.

Cooperative AI Institute is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by NCUA, FFIEC, or any other regulatory body. Institutions should review and adapt materials with appropriate internal stakeholders, legal counsel, compliance teams, and vendor management teams as needed.

Certification

Certifications confirm that an individual has completed the associated course and assessment as of the date of issuance. Certifications are valid for one year from issuance, do not certify regulatory compliance, and may require renewal by completing updated assessment requirements.

Intellectual property

All Cooperative AI Institute content, including course materials, templates, checklists, guides, and branding, is owned by Pineview AI. Purchase grants a limited license for internal use and does not transfer ownership.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cooperative AI Institute and Pineview AI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our products or services. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify active subscribers of material changes when appropriate.
